Low Poly Models

Low poly models that can be used in an engine

Pinto

Model: Autodesk Maya
Printer: Shapeways

I wanted to make a arrow head pendent.
One that can be split into two,
but still keeps its general shape.
Then had it printed with a 3D printer of Shapeways.

Commode

Model: Autodesk Maya
Engine: Unreal 3
Texture: Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
vertices: 798

The model was made with separate doors, drawer and knobs.
Only one drawer was modelled as the seconded one
can be copied in the engine.
To save texture space the UVs overlap
and only a small wood texture was used.
In the engine the texture was tiled in the material and overplayed
with a noise texture to make the wood look different in places.
The texture for the knobs was made in illustrator
to keep it clean and crisp.
The model was exported and imported using FBX.

Burner

Low Poly: Autodesk Maya
High Poly: Zbrush

Work in progress
the High poly sculpt is not yet finished
when the base is done I will start on the leaves of the burner.
the leaves are separate parts so that they can be animated in the engine later.

DD Pendent

Low Poly: Autodesk Maya
High Poly: Zbrush
vertices: 2678
Printer: Shapeways

I converted the 2D logo to a 3D pendent.
Then had it printed with a 3D printer of Shapeways

Dino

Low Poly: Autodesk Maya
High Poly: Zbrush
Engine: Unreal 3
Texture: Zbrush polypaint
vertices: 391

The Normal map was made in zbrush.
The material that was applide in the engine
has a fresnel effect to reproduce lighting on the fur.
